Besides a cool “Freddie Freeman”-Look, the Mitt offers an 11 1/2" length that many players already know from their Fielding Glove – but with the benefits of a Mitt. The half moon cut increases the catching surface and makes it easier to “scoop” short throws at first base. Pre-oiled Full Grain Leather provides a durable frame, a sure catch notch reduced the hand strength required to squeeze the Mitt. The catching hand sits in an open back for maximum range of motion. An index- and palm pad provide extended hand protection.
